Alright Mate? Original

Our first piece of work, also named Alright Mate? is an audio-visual installation that explores male mental health through presenting conversations with and photographs of participating members of the public. For three days, Cally and Hugh recorded chats with Exeter residents about their ideas and experiences around male mental health, and then working with wet-plate photographer Stephen Raff, produced a series of unique portraits of the participants. The exhibition consists of three headphones playing interweaved excerpts of these conversations, and a display of the portraits.
